Mariazellerbahn (english)

Mariazellerbahn is a real jewel of alpine railway engeneering.

The track starts in St. Pölten and ends in Mariazell. In between are 84 km of alpine railtrack crossing 79 bridges and tunnels. The longest tunnel ist 2.430m.

Gauge size is 30". This gauge came vis Suez to Austria.
