Steinschaler hotels
Both hotels, Steinschalerhof and Steinschaler Dörfl were originally farms and combine a high level of comfort with an emphasis on sustainability.
The two family-run "nature-hotels" are decorated in typical regional style making extensive use of wood and incorporating innumerable charming details. Nestling in their splendid natural surroundings, the hotels offer all the latest conveniences. Trend scouting predicts that sustainability and health will gain in importance for vacationers in the future.
Pielachtal plans to enhance its competence in the fields of sustainability and wholesome enjoyment. A range of projects that will concentrate on the health aspect is already in planning. In addition to healthful nutrition, healthy exercise will also be promoted.
Naturehotel Steinschalerhof
The country hotel Steinschalerhof is a traditional-style house which has been lovingly converted to a romantic holiday residence. Each room is individually equiped with wooden furniture and is equipped with an Internet connection and satellite TV. The resort also hosts eight fully equipped holiday bungalows, for those who prefer an attractive alternative. Our indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, natural pools, ponds for boating and fishing, bike hire, playground and hotel gardens are oases for recreation and relaxation.
Get ready to be spoilt in our in-house restaurant (awarded for its wholesome cuisine) which offers a variety of traditional and local culinary delicacies, international and vegetarian dishes. (eg. Wild herb dishes with fresh herbs from our own gardens). You can also try one of our many refreshing local drinks, for example our wild cherry juice or our great-tasting regional pear juice, as well as numerous wines from renowned Austrian winegrowers.
Steinschaler Dörfl
Particularly noteworthy is Steinschaler Dörfl, a neighbouring hotel village in Frankenfels, affiliated with the Steinschalerhof.
