Steinschaler Nature garden
A hallmark of (Or THE hallmark) Nature Hotels Steinschalerhof and Steinschaler Doerfl are the extensive and varied natural Gardens. The nature gardens are - as for the sustainability is aligned operation belongs - multifunctional and so intimately connected with ideology and daily operation of the hotel, that they are not indispensable.
Here is a great deal of what the hotel business in the kitchen is used/ produced:
Vegetables, Wild herbs, decorational flowers,
Fruits and aromatic herbs thrive in their own Production garden, but also in Steinmauern,
Front yards and the so-called "green separators" there aromatic, nutritious and just beautiful.
A very high biodiversity is a very important point. Therefore, about 1,000 plant species are in this wonderful natural gardens.

Diversity
The Steinschaler Gardens are not architecturally-scale green spaces. Dynamic, like the entire hotel operation, they always look a bit different, change seasonally its appearance and shape and are from year to year more species-rich and structurally diverse.
Summing up the two sites Steinschalerhof and Stone Doerfl together, there is a wide range of location-wet locations, average garden creditworthiness and extreme rock locations. This allows for many cultivated and wild plants of the "right" course offered and so the Steinschaler Gardens accommodate several hundred plant species.
To still keep track of this abundance, it requires good experts. The group manages the gardens and remove it consistently. In the case of Steinschaler Gardens woman organizes the garden workflows. Biodiversity
In the numerous gardens of Steinschaler different establishments, partly very ancient plant species are cultivated.
Many of the cultivated plants are - based on the Lower Austrian average garden - unusual. Here mix old, lost vegetable species and varieties cultivated with wild plants and crops from around the world.
Despite the existing species abundance is still room for experimentation, where guests can gain insights. As a result, knowledge can be passed on to interested parties. Partly already forgotten plant species can so with visitors again be recalled.
