Diversity
The Steinschaler Gardens are not architecturally-scale green spaces. Dynamic, like the entire hotel operation, they always look a bit different, change seasonally its appearance and shape and are from year to year more species-rich and structurally diverse.
Summing up the two sites Steinschalerhof and Stone Doerfl together, there is a wide range of location-wet locations, average garden creditworthiness and extreme rock locations. This allows for many cultivated and wild plants of the "right" course offered and so the Steinschaler Gardens accommodate several hundred plant species.

Biodiversity
In the numerous gardens of Steinschaler different establishments, partly very ancient plant species are cultivated.
Many of the cultivated plants are - based on the Lower Austrian average garden - unusual. Here mix old, lost vegetable species and varieties cultivated with wild plants and crops from around the world.
