Steinschaler Wild Herb Cooking
An introduction to “Cooking with Wild Herbs of the Region” gives participants great cooking ideas. Cooking with such plants gives you a new perspective on cooking healthily and with great variation. Wild herbs, high in minerals and fibre, are another healthy and rich addition to your menu.
The primary contents of these plants (carbohydrates, sugar and fat) and secondary contents (phenol and tanning agents) are necessary to survive.
Participants will learn about:
- Wild herb soup
- Vegetarian meals and/or adding wild herbs to recipes
- Wild herb salad
- Dessert made with wild herbs
Food will be prepared for tasting so that participants can try what they will be cooking beforehand, also they will be able to relish the food while they are cooking it.
